Confession Planner is designed for individuals aged 13 and older to assist the penitent in preparing for confession with their father of confession.
It is important to note that this app does not substitute the sacrament of absolution received from a priest!
The Confession Planner app offers gentle guidance through a series of questions, with the penitent responding with yes or no to each offense. Each question is linked to the Ten Commandments and supported by Bible verses. The questionnaire is divided into three categories: Sins against God; Sins against my neighbors; Sins against myself. Additionally, there is a text box at the end for any additional offenses you wish to include.
Upon completing the questionnaire, a report is generated in a first-person format, making it convenient for review during confession. The app also includes prayers of repentance to recite before and after confession.
Rest assured, the app respects your privacy by not requesting any personal information. You can save the report, which will automatically delete after 7 days or manually at any time.
